What we’re looking for

We are seeking a responsive, compassionate and resourceful Solutions Team Account Executive to join our team, convert leads and support our live-chat team. In this position, you will play an important role in helping to develop our sales funnel and the talk tracks needed to drive conversations with potential customers. You should have experience converting interested leads into customers through the use of a variety of approaches that focus on building trust and quality relationships with our customers, and do not solely rely on traditional transactional sales tactics. You should enjoy helping customers locate answers to their complex questions and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and learn how our software works and aids customers through navigating their immigration journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of the SimpleCitizen sales funnel by working with company leadership to create and test talk tracks and scripts for discussions with potential customers;
  • Act as the first point of contact for many potential SimpleCitizen customers by scheduling phone and video call appointments with them to discuss SimpleCitizen’s products and services and how they align with their immigration needs;
  • Help convert leads into paying customers by providing adequate and accurate information to help customers make purchasing decisions;
  • Aid potential customers in understanding how SimpleCitizen’s software works;
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions and transactions;
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate live chat support to customers using SimpleCitizen’s software to self-generate their immigration applications;
  • Help customers navigate government websites to locate information that they can rely on while using our software to draft their immigration paperwork;
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding immigration requirements, procedures, and documentation in a compliant way;
  • Troubleshoot with customers technical issues related to using SimpleCitizen’s software and escalate complex issues to the appropriate parties; and
  • Contribute to the company’s desire to continuously improve our services and software platform for the benefit of our customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Very strong communication skills (both written and verbal) – Spanish or Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using computers and navigating software applications – Experience with VoIP phone systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft products are a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role (preferred, but not required)
  • Previous account executive and/or inbound sales experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of immigration procedures and forms (preferred, but not required - training will be provided).
